WHY MY HIPPIE WAZE EXISTS
After moving to South Carolina, John recognized a real need in the Carolina Foothills: dependable trail shuttle services and welcoming accommodations for thru-hikers and outdoor travelers. My Hippie Waze was created to fill that gap—offering thoughtful support, practical services, and a place that feels grounded, safe, and human.

John’s connection to the outdoors began early, shaped by his time in the Outdoor Wilderness Living program (OWL). That experience instilled a deep respect for self-reliance, simplicity, and the wisdom of the natural world—values that continue to guide how he lives and works today.
